Google Patent Search Update
Firstly, Google Patent Search was released and we felt we have to make the software fully compatible with Google Patent Search. Google Patent Search has excellent search and viewing capability but has no provision for saving search results, download or print patent document. We do one better. Secondly, Microsoft released IE 7 in January. Not only that, IE 7 is a suggested update which means the update reminder for IE 7 keep popping up on your computer. We feel that we have to make our software compatible with IE 7. The problem is the multi-tab feature in IE 7 threw a monkey wrench in our code. We spent the better part of the last 6 weeks re-working the codes. The situation is made worst by the fact that Microsoft staff we have contacted was not helpful in getting our issues resolved. So we have become experts in controlling tabs in IE 7 and we now know all about manipulating tab handles....
